Astley Ainslie Hospital Site is to be sold.
The planners of Edinburgh Council (CEC) are preparing a Place Brief to use as material consideration when assessing planning applications from developers. They are keen that this brief should reflect the views of the community. The AA Community Trust has already collected community views at their two community sessions in March, at their pop-ups in Morningside and Marchmont and at their visits to schools. The Community Engagement Group comprises representatives from the four local community councils and from the Grange Association. They have also collected views from some 200 local people. CEC have a few more questions to ask the community and are running four drop-in sessions to complete the community consultation. This poster gives details. All are welcome to come and give their views.
The drop-in events are from 2 to 7pm
Monday 26th August at Open Door Cafe, Morningside Road
Tuesday 3rd September at Newington Library
Wednesday 4th September at the Eric Liddell Centre
Monday 9th September at Marchmont St Giles church, Kilgraston Road.
